Robert G. Sorino

Robert G. Sorino, 76, lovingly known as "Uncle Rob" to his family and friends, passed away on March 17, 2026. He was a resident of Jackson, New Jersey. Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, Robert lived in Lakewood for many years before moving to Jackson 20 years ago. Rob had worked as a truck driver for many years. He was a member of the Lakewood Volunteer Firehouse #4, a member of the Ocean County Chapter of the Oceanaires Barber Shop Harmony Chorus, and enjoyed watching sports, especially football and baseball. But what Rob loved the most was spending time with his family.

Robert is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Ella Sorino, his loving daughters, Robin Sorino and Melissa Meier and her husband Steven, his cherished grandchildren, Steven, Jr. and Mia, and his dear brothers, Fred Sorino and Joseph Sorino. He was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Rose Sorino.

Visitation will be held at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759, on Sunday, March 22, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John's Church, 619 Chestnut Street, Lakehurst, NJ 08733, on Monday, March 23, 2026, from 10:00 am to 10:40 am. Interment to follow at Saint Mary of the Lake Cemetery, 1 Honey Locust Drive, Lakewood, NJ 08701.
