Williemae’s family was her life. She will always be remembered for her many accomplishments. She was a member of the State of New Jersey DYFS (Division of Youth and Family Services) and CHS (Children's Home Society) of New Jersey. She was an in-home daycare provider and was awarded the Community Mother in 2005. Everyone knew her as the "Candy Lady" selling snacks. Mrs. Bacon was also a member of The Prayer-band Church in Philadelphia, a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Missionary and Deaconess at Word of Life Ministries, one of the overseers of Anointed Youth of Manchester, Deaconess at New Life Ministries and finally Lady Queen of her own True Gospel Ministries, where her husband is Pastor. Williemae was a prayer warrior, teacher and counselor. She was serious about her spiritual walk with Christ and would always testify of the goodness of Jesus no matter where she was. Her community and faith were important to her, she loved having neighborhood gatherings at her home. She would greet everyone with her amazing smile stating her favorite saying.
She is also loved by her extended daycare family "Mae's kids". Mrs. Bacon always had a song and dance in her heart, praise on her lips, and a true worship in her spirit. She was a true example of a woman of God. If your life was touched by her just once, that blessing will last forever.
As impactful as her departure from this earth may be, we pray those who knew and loved her will have peace within their heart knowing that she has fought the good fight, finished her course, and kept the faith.
