Alice Crist

Alice A. Crist, 71, of Mansfield, died Sunday, January 1, 2006 at MedCentral Mansfield following an extended illness. She was born September 10, 1934 in Shreve, OH to John Russell and Freeda Leona Atkinson Snow. She was a graduate of Millersburg High School and had retired from Tappan in 1979. Alice was a member of Mansfield Baptist Temple. She also was an avid sports fan, following NASCAR, the Browns, and OSU.

Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Debbie Crist of Crestline, Ronnie Crist of Ontario, and Steve and Jenny Crist of Mansfield; two daughters and sons-in-law, Shari and Brent Wheeler of Bessie, OK, and Shelly and Kerry Kern of Normal, IL; fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Martin and Sally Snow of Loudonville, and Gayle and Janet Baker of Defiance, OH; and one sister, Marcie Schivinski of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her husband Gene Crist; a son Michael Crist, her parents; three sisters, Peggy Stump, Rita Baker, and Janice Gibson; a brother Donald Snow; and a grandson, Andrew Kern.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday January 4, 2006 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30a.m. Thursday, January 5, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
