
Alice Ruth Fransens Sizemore, 74, of Mansfield, died Thursday, October 12, 2006 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born June 25, 1932 in Celeryville, she was the daughter of Johannes and Anna Shaarda Fransens. She was a member of the First English Lutheran Church. She was a volunteer nurse's aid at Eastview School. A Sunday school teacher at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church for 12 years, she also sang in the choir. Mrs. Sizemore graduated from Willard High School in 1950 and had worked for the Lear Corp. making auto pilots for aircrafts. From 1983 to 1984, she had worked at Maginnis Concrete Vibrator Company and had also worked in the purchasing department at AMF in Shelby.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph B. Sizemore, whom she married December 17, 1954; three sons, Ralph Benjamin MelindaSizemore of Springfield, Joseph Michael Mary Sizemore of Mansfield, and Nathaniel John LeeannSizemore of Kenosha, Wisconsin; five grandchildren, Erica Leigh Butt of Peru, Indiana, Amanda Lynn Sizemore of Springfield, James Sizemore of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Michael Warren Sizemore of Mansfield, and Jennifer Joelle Sizemore of Mansfield; and one great-grandchild, Ryne Thomas Butt of Peru, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Florence Sutton, and Trenna Owens; and one brother, Owen Fransens.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, October 15, 2006 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the First English Lutheran Church conducted by Rev. Paul L. Larson. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First English Lutheran Church.
