Ann Meyers Baker

Ann E. Meyers Baker, 67, of Mansfield, died Thursday, April 6, 2006 at her home after an extended illness. Born June 16, 1938 in Reading, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Richard Barrett and Mary Pelka Meyers. She retired from Natlyn, Inc. Mrs. Baker enjoyed NASCAR, International Radio Patrol, and fishing. She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, David Alan Baker of West Salem, and Robert Wade and Mary L. Baker of Mansfield; grandchildren, Tiffany Lorraine, Kyle David, Emily Victoria, Robert Lee, Graceanna Louise, Olivia Ann Zeigler; two brothers, Julian Meyers of Reading, Pennsylvania, and David Meyers of Atlantic Beach, North Carolina; and sister, Rebecca Jeznach of Reading, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Baker in March 2006; parents; two brothers, Richard and Milton Meyers; and her great-grandmother, the renowned poet, Elizabeth Barrett Browning. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors conducted by St. Peter's Catholic Church. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
