

Barbara graduated from Wheeling Beauty College in West Virginia in 1961. She opened Barbara Ann's Beauty Salon in 1963 and proudly welcomed three generations to follow her in the business. Family meant everything to her and she made certain each one knew how much love she felt for them. Her husband, Maxwell, was the love of her life and they enjoyed square dancing and camping with the Johnny Appleseed Club.
She is survived by three daughters, Sandra (Art) Ramey of Ontario, Kathleen Orewiler of Shelby and Debra (Ron) Schivinski of Fort Myers, FL; eight grandchildren, Trichel (Todd) Hallabrin, Aaron Ramey (Ashleigh Windnagel), Michael Henry (Josh Maurer), Crystal (Bob) Eldridge, Rick (Stephanie) Penix, Shane (Danielle) Slaughter, Jason (Jen) Utt, and Brandon Utt; seven great-grandchildren, Ali and Kristian Hallabrin, Brook and Taylor Penix, Alexis, Haliey and Corbin Eldridge; one great-great grandchild, Ryder Hallabrin; two brothers, Charles and Kenny Wilson, both of MD; and two sisters, Sharon Teague of MD and Sheila Wilson of TN.
Barbara is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Maxwell Utt; son, Michael W. Utt; grandchildren, Kaitlynn and Matthew; son-in-law, Merle Orewiler; mother, Glenice Hammons Wilson; father, Earl Wilson; brother, Bill Wilson; and sister, Phyllis Pritt.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. The funeral conducted by Pastor Dink Porter will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
