Beatrice Wright

Beatrice M. Wright, 83, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at Triumph Hospital. Born September 15, 1923 in Augusta, Georgia, she was the daughter of Edward and Beatrice Mason Reid. She graduated from Immaculate Conception High School and earned her Associate's Degree in Business from Paine College in Augusta. She was a Mansfield area homemaker the past 61 years. Beatrice enjoyed spending time with her family and adored her grandchildren.

Survivors include five daughters, Gaye Earl Evans of Cincinnati, Dana Joe Holley, Vicki Thomas Beauford, Nina Wright and Kimberly Davis, all of Mansfield; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a sister, Viola Bell of Milwaukee, WI; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Reid of Greenville, SC; a brother-in-law, Vernon LaMar of Somerset, NJ; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dana M. Wright on April 23, 1999; parents; a grandson, Gale Beauford; great-grandson, Shawn Holley Jr.; two brothers, George Reid and Edward Reid; two sisters, Rosa LaMar and Gussie McCoy.

Funeral services will be Monday, April 30 at 12:00 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors conducted by Rev. Martina Goines. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
