Becky graduated from Clearfork High School and Ashland College, becoming the first in her family to earn a college degree. She began her career teaching art at Lexington Elementary School but later left to follow her true passion—sculpting. A gifted sculptor, She found deep fulfillment in her creative work.
She also had a great love for dogs and cherished the time she spent with them. In addition, she enjoyed gardening and took pride in caring for the landscaping around her home.
She is survived by her husband, Pierre Goasdoue; daughter, Alana Gillson; brothers and sisters, Roy M. Peterson, Jr., Rod Peterson, and Deb (Peterson) Smith; grandchildren, Alec Ray, Jake Chilcote, and Brock Gillson, and many cherished family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Philip Snelson, and brother, Thomas Peterson.
