Betty Spangler

Betty J. Spangler, 79, of Crestline, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at MedCentral Mansfield. Born February 10, 1932 in Ontario, she was the daughter of Louis and Elizabeth Reiser Kordish. A homemaker, Betty was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Crestline and was a former Treasurer for the Women's Auxiliary at the Richland County Fairgrounds. She enjoyed sewing, needlework, crocheting and flowers.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Spangler; a son, Dennis Vicki Spangler of Ontario; two daughters, Debbie Bruce Boyce of Ontario and Diane Dan Wolfe of Westerville, Ohio; grandchildren, Todd Spangler, Aaron Spangler, Scott Casey Boyce, Brett Stephanie Boyce, Cassie Boyce, Cory Kelly Baumberger and Benjamin Baumberger; great grandchildren, Aiden Baumberger and Cierra and Bryce Boyce; a sister, Mary Ann Dunlap of Florida; and a brother, Robert Connie Kordish of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2011 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Crestline conducted by Pastor Diana Seaman. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
