Jeannie was born in Coshocton, Ohio on October 16, 1941, to Richard and Lucy (Hissong) McGee. Jeannie was a graduate of Madison High School and took pride in her cleaning business in her earlier years. In her later years, she worked at McDonalds and Meijer.
A woman of strong faith, Jeannie loved the Lord, and strived to live her life in a Christian manner; sweet and kind. She attended church whenever she was able at the Salvation Army where she was also a member of the Home League. In her later years, she enjoyed being a part of the Red Hat Society and all of the social events that came along with this group. She loved puzzles, arts and crafts, knitting and was particularly fond of cats. She was a true OSU fan.
Jeannie is survived by her son, Benjamin (Lisa) Ferguson; her grandchildren, Jessica (Bryan) Dawson, Luke, Joel, Caleb and Hannah Ferguson, Marcus and Anthony Johnson, and Amber Stanford; her great-grandchildren; her sister, Barbara Milligan; her niece, Shelly (Craig) Eddy; great-niece, Camryn Eddy; and other nieces, nephews and other dear relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry D. Ferguson; son, Glenn Ferguson; and her sister, Phyllis Fraser.
Family and friends may visit from 10:00-11:00 am on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Wappner Funeral Directors-Mansfield, 98 S. Diamond St. Funeral services will be held immediately following at 11:00 am. Jeannie will be laid to rest in Oak Grove Memorial Park.
