Bruce Allen McMillan, age 59, passed away Friday morning, September 28, 2012 at his home. Born August 8, 1953 in Mount Vernon, Ohio, he is the only child of Robert and Janee (Kleilein) McMillan. Bruce was self-employed, buying and selling antiques. He attended Trinity United Methodist Church and enjoyed photography. Time spent with his grandchildren brought him great joy.
He is survived by his wife, Christine (Friend) McMillan; son, Andrew (Sherry) McMillan of Columbus; daughter, Katie (Tim) Cox of Mansfield; four grandchildren, Mason and Avery McMillan and Amelia and Lily Cox; and his mother, Janee McMillan of Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert McMillan.
Friends may visit from 5-7 p.m. Monday, October 1, 2012 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home Tuesday, October 2 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Robert Stull officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
