Bruce Pryor

Bruce Allen Pryor, Sr., 48, of Mansfield departed this life Friday, March 20, 2009. He was born October 26, 1960 in Mansfield to Bernard O. and Maxine Mochoskay Pryor. He was a 1979 graduate of Malabar High School. Bruce was an avid Cleveland Browns fan through the years, hosting many Sunday afternoon football and Super Bowl parties. He was also a very big fan of the musical group Lynyrd Skynyrd and seeing them perform live was a great joy for him. He also enjoyed NASCAR racing and was an avid golfer, participating in many tournaments.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Bernard and Maxine Pryor of Mansfield; two sons, whom he was extremely proud of, Bruce A. Pryor, Jr. of Mansfield, and PFC Bart C. Pryor of San Diego, California; one granddaughter, Scarlett Ann Pryor of Mansfield; nephew, John M. Pryor of Iowa; niece, Kelly Pryor of Wisconsin; and many beloved aunts and uncles. In addition, he also leaves many cherished friends, who were also like family to him. The family would like to thank David Kalish and Richard Campbell in their time of sorrow. He was preceded in death by one brother, Bernard Pryor, Jr.; and one sister, Beth Ann Pryor.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Scarlett A. Pryor Education Fund in care of Mechanics Building and Loan of Mansfield.
