Carol J. Thayer, 69, of Mansfield, died Tuesday, February 26, 2008, at MedCentral Mansfield following a short illness. Born March 23, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of Faith Breed. She retired from Therm-O-Disc after 30 years of service. Carol enjoyed doing puzzles, playing hand held video games, watching television and especially having lunch with her friends.
Surviving are three children, Alan Thayer of Mansfield, Ruth Mussman of Colorado Springs, CO and Gerald Thayer of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Kayla Thayer of Inkster, MI and Trisha Thayer of Taylor, MI; one brother, John Breed of Las Vegas, NV; and her beloved dog, Little G. She was preceded in death by her mother.
There will be no calling hours or service observed at this time. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
