Cassondra "Cassy" Snider, 27, of Mansfield, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, October 30, 2013. She was born November 1, 1985 in Van Wert, Ohio and was a ray of sunshine every day since. Beautiful inside and out, Cassy exuded a positive attitude about everything she encountered in her short but meaningful life. An outgoing, energetic person, she never met a stranger and enjoyed spending time with friends. Cassy's family was most important to her and she devoted her life to each of them.
Cassy loved to sing and won many awards in choir and ensemble while at Lexington High School. She continued her love of singing into adulthood singing with various church choirs, but most importantly, sharing her beautiful voice with her "miracle" daughter, Katie. She would sing everywhere: in the car, in the house, outside, you name it.
Cassy had a smile that would brighten a room and she possessed a beautiful spirit. She had unlimited potential and dreams and these live on in those who love her. Cassy was very faithful in her belief in Christ and touched the lives of everyone she met with her strength and wisdom.
She is survived by her husband, Rob and daughter, Katie Snider, both of Mansfield; mother, Mary Brincefield Rose of Mansfield; grandmother, Evelyn Brincefield of Van Wert; three uncles, Tony (Michelle) Brincefield, Pat Brincefield, both of Van Wert and John Brincefield of Middle Point; and four cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Lewis Brincefield.
Friends and family are invited to visit from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, November 3, 2013 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Brain Tumor Association, 8550 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., Ste 550, Chicago, IL 60631.
