

Celene Ann "Candy" Taylor Wallen joined the Lord peacefully at her home Sunday, January 19, 2014. She was born in Mansfield, Ohio February 12, 1956 to her parents Charles Richard Taylor, Sr. and Peggy Ann Basting.
She was married to Dwight L. Wallen August 12, 1972. She was the owner of The Good Insurance Company in Mansfield.
She is survived by her husband Dwight L. Wallen; her three daughters: Kristina M. (Marshall) Haker of Englewood, Nicole L. (Matthew) Croft of Las Vegas, NV and Laura L. (Steve) Roeder of New London; and her mother, Peggy A. Taylor of Mansfield.
Five siblings survive: Charles R. (Deni) Taylor Jr., of Shelby, Ricky L. (Tonya) Taylor of Etowah, NC, Regina M. (Anthony) Baumgartner of Uniondale, IN, James (Ron) Taylor of Mansfield and Lisa R. Gardner of Galion.
She is also survived by her seven precious grandchildren: Kevin Roeder, Rebekah Applegate, Felecia Holmes, Chelsea Roeder, Andrew Haker, Gabrielle Haker and Vincent Croft.
She also leaves behind her very beloved friends Marla Kiser and Jeanne Congdon as well as many other innumerable and treasured friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Charles R. Taylor, Sr. and her sister Jackie L. Gonzales.

A viewing will be held at The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield from 3-6 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2014 where services will be held at 6:00 p.m. conducted by Pastor Don Betts. Candy's life celebration will follow services at the Life Celebration Reception Center across from the funeral home.
