Charlotte A. Hatmaker Roberts, 72, died Saturday, January 31, 2004, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital following a brief battle with cancer. Mrs. Roberts was born April 5, 1931 in Richland County to Carl Leon and Donna Lucille Butler Hatmaker. Charlotte had retired from the Ben Franklin Store after working there for many years. She had attended Ontario United Methodist Church. Charlotte was a wonderful seamstress and was very devoted to her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Susan Roberts of Mercer, Pennsylvania.; a son, Michael E. Roberts of Valley, Alabama.; a sister, Sharrie Hatmaker Donough of Anderson Island, Washington; a brother, Randy Valance of Marion, Ohio.; and three nephews, Chad Finley, Andy Finley and Cameron Donough. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Leon and Donna Lucille Butler Hatmaker.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Tuesday, February 3, one hour prior to services that will be held at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Ontario Cemetery.
