Christina's passion for children was evident in every aspect of her life. She graduated from Pioneer Career and Technology Center's Early Childhood Education Program and continued her studies, graduating from English Nanny and Governess School in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, where she earned her Nanny Certification. She was currently working at PACCE in toddler care.
Christina's priority was her family. She had a deep love for her soul mate and husband, Jason, and her daughter, Amelia Ann, whom she adored before she ever got to meet her. She was very close to all her family and friends, especially her parents, sisters, and brother. Christina loved being outdoors and found great peace and serenity visiting the Mohican area, and especially enjoyed the beautiful fall season. She was a member of CitiChurch and, in her spare time, was an avid reader.
Left to treasure her loving and giving nature are her husband, Jason Taylor of Mansfield; daughter, Amelia Ann Taylor; parents, Michael Scott of Deland, Florida and Elizabeth Callentine of Daytona Beach, Florida; siblings, Alanna, Austin and Alyse, all of Deland, Florida; grandparents, Danny and Pat Callentine of Bucyrus, Ohio; father-in-law, Dennis Taylor of Mansfield; mother-in-law, Julie Taylor of Ashland; and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Larry and Kathleen Scott.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2015, in the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, followed by a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Christina may be made to the family for the benefit of her daughter, Amelia.
