Constance Price

Constance “Connie” R. (Shasky) Price, 77, of Mansfield, passed away early Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. She was one of eleven children born to the late Harold E. and Ruth (Fisher) Shasky on April 9, 1934 in Mansfield.

She was a graduate of Mansfield Senior High School and enjoyed playing cards and Bingo. Connie loved her dog, Elvis, and enjoyed the company of her family as often as they could see one another. Her family will have a permanent reminder of Connie in her homemade Christmas ornaments.

She is survived by a daughter, Carlene (Jim) Rhoades; granddaughter, Jessica Shade (Jake Dingus); grandson, Mark Price (Becky Dillbeck); three great-grandchildren; special friends, Wilma and Laurie; favorite caregiver, Bet Sablan; eight brothers and sisters; numerous nieces and nephews; and a foster son, Kelly Truman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Carroll Price; a brother; a sister; a brother-in-law; a niece; and a nephew.

Friends and family may visit from 5-8 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2012 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. A funeral service will be held Saturday in the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
