Daisy I. McFadden, 71, of Mansfield, died Saturday, February 17, 2007, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born January 15, 1936, in Mansfield, she was the daughter of James O. and Elsie Irene Jaynes McFadden. She worked as a cook at the Orange St. Café. Daisy loved all animals and was an avid card player.
She is survived by a niece, Linda Yamamoto of San Diego, CA; four nephews, Greg Gemzer of Mansfield, Paul Leathers, Ron Leathers and Jeff Leathers, all of Florida; and many close friends who will deeply miss her-most of all, Terri. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jimmy McFadden, and sisters, Donna Jean Gemzer and Patty Mae Leathers.
Memorial services will be held Friday, February 23 at 11:00 a.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Richland County, 395 Lantz Rd., Mansfield, Ohio 44906.
