

Dave was born on November 14, 1952 in Mansfield, Ohio. He was the son of Edward and June (Weaver) Neighbors. Dave retired from Aerial Corporation. A man of strong Christian faith, Dave enjoyed attending church at Diamond Hill Cathedral where he was saved. He used his talents that the Lord gave him; singing and playing music in church. He enjoyed music and played the drums and guitar. Dave enjoyed time in the outdoors; fishing, camping and going to Lake Erie.
He is survived by is wife whom he married on November 18, 2000, Jennifer (Hollar) Neighbors; his daughters, Michelle (Geoffrey) George, Krista (Cory) Van Dyke, and Amber (Danny) Lemon; his step children, Crystal Lynn (David) Smith and Travis Thompson; his grandchildren, Adrianna (Kevin) Foglesong, Kyle Mowers, and McKenna Van Dyke; step grandchildren, Angel and Drake Goldsmith; two great grandchildren, Gavin and Gracie; his siblings, Carol (Carl) Owens, Pat Cole, and Michael (Misty) Neighbors; mother of his children and friend, Sheila Neighbors; numerous nieces and nephews; his cousin, Helen Neighbors; and his best friend, Robert Ousley; and enjoyed spending time with Wilma and Roger Steward. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his cousins, Ralph and Lee Neighbors.
Family and friends may visit from 9:30-11:00 am on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street. Funeral service will begin immediately at 11:00 am with Pastor Roger Garrison officiating. As his church was very important to him, please consider making a memorial contribution in his name to Diamond Hill Cathedral.
