

Deborah "Debra" Sue Fowler, 66, of Chesterville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, Oct 7, 2018, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital. She was born September 23, 1952, in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late Richard Thorpe and Margaret (Jacoby) Thorpe. She was a 1970 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School. After graduation, she entered nursing and became an RN. She enjoyed camping, reading, quilting and was an active member of Chester Baptist Church in Morrow County.
Debra Sue is survived by her husband, Daniel E. Fowler, whom she married on July 21, 1971; children, Daniel Shane (Katherine) Fowler of Mansfield, and Tara Dawn (Tony Scott) Fowler of Marysville; one grandchild, Christopher Caleb Fowler of Chesterville but currently stationed in Virginia Beach, VA; one brother, Mike (Kathleen) Thorpe of Mansfield; one sister, Rebecca Walters of Worthington; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends and neighbors.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and Daniel.
The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 pm on Friday, October 12, 2018 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street. Pastor John "Chuck" Wythe will officiate the service following at 5:00 pm. Burial will take place at a later date at Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Chester Baptist Church for the shoebox ministry.
