Debra May Hinkle

Debra was a hard worker and had a generous and kind heart. Having a special love for people, everyone she met was considered as family. She enjoyed the time she spent with her family, especially her grandkids; they were her world. She loved watching them play soccer and do many other activities. Debra enjoyed reading, boating and camping. For many years, she and her husband, Dennis, owned and operated their own bar called Punkin Patch in Butler, Ohio.

Debra is survived by her children, Dennis (Misti) Northrup of Bellville and Anita Reid of WV; grandchildren, Hayden Northrup and Harper Northrup both of Bellville, Adam (Alicia) Sipes of WV, James (Jackie) Atterson of GA and David Atterson of WV; great-grandchildren, Tanner Sipes, Presley Sipes, Abigail Atterson and Connor Atterson, all of WV; sister, Joyce (Richard) Bonelli of OR; and niece, Holly (Brian) Dahl of OR.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dennis C. Hinkle; step-son, Dennis W. Hinkle; and granddaughter, Stephanie Sipes.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in honor of Debra may be made to OhioHealth Hospice. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family.
