Diane graduated from Stautzenberger College in Toledo, where she graduated with an Associate degree in Business Administration and Accounting. She had her own business and operated a home based tax business for several years. She also worked for H & R Block preparing taxes. Most of Diane's working life was spent running group homes for the mentally disabled.
There are many ways to describe Diane. She was a caring, loving woman and had a heart of gold. Diane was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. She was always there for anyone when they needed a shoulder to lean on. Diane helped everyone with all their problems and chaos. She would support anyone and also lift you up. The main memory of her is that she loved all her children, grandchildren and friends. She will be truly missed by everyone who knew her.
Diane was a strong woman who lived a full life. We will always carry you in our hearts forever. Now Heaven has her and has taken away your pain and your sorrow. A new Diane can rest and be at peace.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Stephen and Thelma (Severin) Ganzel; and her daughters-in-law, Olivia Vandenberg and Teresa LaPene.
Diane is survived by her three sons, Charles (Treasa) LaPene of Botkins, William (Siriwan) LaPene of Ontario and Christopher Vandenberg of Mansfield.
