Dixie O. Frank, 79, of Mansfield, died Monday, July 3, 2006, at Triumph Hospital after a brief illness. Born December 23, 1926, in Omar, West Virginia, she was a Mansfield area homemaker most of her life.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Herman A. Frank; two sons, Jeffrey Frank of Mansfield and John Carrie Frank of Phoenix, Arizona; four grandchildren, Ryan, Amber, Shanna and Jason; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and ten brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Thursday, July 6 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home officiated by Pastor Bruce Copley. Burial will be at a later date in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
