Donna J. Callahan, 72, of Mansfield died early Monday morning, August 19, 2002 at Twin Oaks Care after an extended illness. Mrs. Callahan was born October 9, 1929 in Mansfield and was a lifelong area resident. Donna graduated from Mansfield Senior High in 1947 and was a member of East Hills Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, James A. Callahan; a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Linda Callahan of Mansfield; a daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Scott Banks of Lucas; grandchildren, Christopher Banks and Michael Banks of Lucas, Katherine Lawhun and her husband, Jeremy of Ashland, and Lori Callahan of Sandusky, Ohio; one great-grandson, Andrew Linville, Jr.; and a sister-in-law, Alice Snyder of Ft. Myers, Florida. Her parents preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Tuesday, August 20 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home, Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Bonnie Peltomaa. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
