Edward Mullin, 93, of Mansfield, died Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at Woodlawn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born August 18, 1912, in Alvin, Illinois, he was the son of Taylor and Ellen Dowdy Mullins. He was a 50-year member of the B.P.O.E., Eagles and Moose Lodges.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Gail and Sharon Mullin of Norfolk, Va., and Donald and Sally Mullin of Mansfield; a daughter, Beverly Bothel of Spring Hill, Fla.; five grandchildren, Stefanie Schlupp, Don Mullin, Jr., Chris Otterman, Lynn Hoggins and Kim Miskowski; six great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; brother, Tony Mullins of Danville, Ill.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Edgar, four sisters, Edith, Emma, Esther and Ruth, and former wife, Edith Kiser Mullin.
There will be no services or calling hours at this time. Burial will be at a later date in Danville, Illinois. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
