Elizabeth 'Betty' Jane Boyd Anthony, 86, of Mansfield died Friday morning, June 9, 2000 at Mifflin Care Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Anthony was born November 16, 1913 in Mansfield, Ohio living in the area all of her life. She was a lifelong member of Linden Rd. Presbyterian Church and an active member of the Community Garden Club.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia & Dale Dohner of Ashland; one son and daughter-in-law, Boyd & Patricia Anthony of Mansfield; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one brother, William C. Boyd of Ridgeville, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Carl & Edna Pearl Grove Boyd; her husband, Jack Raymond Anthony; and a brother, James C. Boyd.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Sunday from 4-6 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 12, 2000 at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Lewis VanderNaald. Burial will be at Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Linden Rd. Presbyterian Church Children's Ministries.
