Elizabeth Ann Friend, 62, of Mansfield, died Thursday, November 15, 2012. Born May 16, 1950 in Canton, she was the daughter of Roy and Ann Fete. Elizabeth was a nice and giving person who would do anything for you. She had worked as the office manager for Friend Engineering and Machine Company since 2000. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoyed primitive rug hooking and doing ceramics, having her own kiln.
She is survived by her husband of almost 30 years, David Friend; brothers, Tom (Evie) Fete of Oregon and Roy (Lynn) Fete of Massillon; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Bernice Friend of Mansfield; brother-in-law, Richard Friend; and a few nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Dianne (Friend) Smith.
