Elsie Brown

Born June 26, 1928 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of John and Hazel (Broadhead) Snyder. Primarily a homemaker, she had worked at F.W. Woolworth Company for 16 years and enjoyed going dancing in her younger years. She also enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles and tending to her rose bushes in the summer.

She is survived by three sons, Michael (Rhoda) Brown, Kevin Brown and Brian (Susan) Brown all of Bellville; eight grandchildren, Adam, Alison, Christopher, Abby, Michael, Hayley, Alex and Aaron; and two great grandchildren, Addison and Maci. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey E. Brown on December 2, 1996; two brothers, Clarence R. Snyder and John W. Snyder; and a sister, Mary Snyder Howell.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario conducted by Rev. George Reece. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Plymouth. Friends may call one hour prior to the services, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home on Saturday.
