
Esther Bohland Pschirer Taylor, 90, formerly of Mansfield, died Sunday, August 8, 2010 at Friendship Village of Columbus. Born February 21, 1920 in Barberton, she was the daughter of Peter and Elizabeth Reiter Bohland. She was a union steward at Westinghouse where she retired from after 43 years. A member of the Little Washington Congregation Church, Esther enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and crossword puzzles. She was a caretaker for many family members and loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, and her three pets, Oscar, Artie, and Mattie.
She is survived by three daughters, Diana Bail, formerly of Ashland, now of Columbus, Sharon Boyd, formerly of Ashland, now of Wesley Chapel, FL, and Pam Boyd of Westerville; grandchildren, Kevin Williams, Courtney Bail, Leah Joshua Wesley, Aaron Williams, Nathanael and Liz Boyd, and Jonathan, Casey Meghan, and Dillon Boyd; great grandchildren, Parker and Paige Williams and Finnegan Williams; sisters-in-law, Louise Bohland and Mona Bohland, both of Nova; and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Albert Pschirer; second husband, Clyde Taylor; infant daughter Pschirer; and brothers and sisters, Phillip, Jacob, Sarah, Peter, Elizabeth, Katherine, John, Anna, Magdalene, Ruth, Adam, Andrew, Herman, and Donald Bohland.
Friends may call Wednesday, August 11, 2010 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 308 Claremont Ave., Ashland. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m., with additional calling one hour prior to the services at Adario United Methodist Church conducted by Pastor Joshua Wesley. Burial will follow in Adario Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
