Ethel C. Thomas, 90 of 469 Uhler Ave. Marion, Ohio died August 27, 2000 at Winchester Terrace Nursing Home following an extended illness. Mrs. Thomas was born February 5, 1910 in Marion County residing in the Mansfield for the past three years. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews including one special niece, Ruth Wintermute of Mansfield; and two great-nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry D. and Cora Sult; her husband, John Thomas; three sisters, Inez, Fern and Hazel and two brothers, Harold and Clarence.
There will be no calling hours or funeral services held at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Marion Cemetery on Wednesday August 30, 2000.
