Frances Lucille Leiter Rice, 74, of Mansfield, died Sunday, December 19, 2004, at Lexington Court Care Center. She was born July 21, 1930, in Ashland to Arthur R. and Florence F. Kick Leiter. She retired after 30 years of service with Hartman Electric. Frances was active member of Diamond Hill Cathedral.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, David A. and Cindy Rice of Mansfield; a daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Ron Brown of Dayton; three granddaughters, Melissa Rice, Michelle Rice, Tiffany Binkley Godfrey; thee great-grandchildren, Tyler, Kayli and Isaiah; two sisters, Gayle Martin and Carol Shambaugh, both of Ashland; and a brother, Karl Leiter of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and a brother.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Wednesday, December 22 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Charles Carrier. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park.
