He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Rodney Betts of Findlay; a step-brother, Clayton Blakenship of West Virginia; a sister-in-law, Barbara Jean Thompson of Mansfield; and four grandchildren, Derek, Tiffany, Micah, and Leah. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Norma Lee Thompson in 2001; four brothers, Keith, Victor, Charles, and Everett Thompson; and two sisters, Jean Kilgore and Eddie Blankenship.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Thursday, June 17, 2004 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Phil Beasley, will be held Friday, June 18, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. There will be calling one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
