Gary Hall

Gary M. Hall, 34, of Mansfield, died Monday, December 26, 2011. Born October 12, 1977 in Shelby, he was the son of Derrell and Earlene (Duncan) Hall. Gary was a 1996 graduate of Mansfield Senior High. He was a very hard worker who most recently worked at Ambry Asphalt, but had also worked with his father at Hall’s Building, which he really enjoyed. Gary had a great sense of humor and never let life get him down. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hanging out with his friends. Gary would do anything for anyone in need and was a great son, brother, dad, and boyfriend. His life revolved around his two daughters whom he loved spending all his free time with.

He is survived by his daughters, Paityn and Alyxa; parents, Derrell and Earlene Hall; brothers, Steven Hall and Brian Hall; grandmother, Elsie Hall; girlfriend, Jennifer Korbas; special nieces, Brooklyn and Aaliyah; aunts and uncles, Garold Hall, Starr (John) Ebeling, Dawn Kelly, Judy (William) Jarrell, Linda Drake, Leland (Susie) Duncan, Dorsie (Stephen) Roop, and Fred (Deanna) Sergent, Jr.; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Avery Hall, Fred Sergent, and Homer Duncan, and grandmother, Avanell Sergent-Lewis.

Friends may call Friday, December 30, 2011 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd., Ontario. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at the Journey Life Center, 2578 State Route 39 N, Mansfield, conducted by Rev. David Ferrell, Rev. William Cantlebarry, and Daniel Cantlebarry. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Mansfield Holiness Chapel.
