Gay Marchant, 70, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025, at OhioHealth, Mansfield. She was born October 2, 1954, to the late Jay and Virginia (Mause) Marchant. Gay worked for 20 years at Geyer’s Markets. She enjoyed reading Steven King novels and liked watching Rocky and John Wayne movies. She loved horses and her cats, especially Oscar.
Gay is survived by her son, Jeremy (Victoria) Marchant; siblings, Gwen Marchant and Gar (Chris) Marchant; grandchildren, Quinton Davis, Kade Marchant, and Kayzen Marchant; and many other cherished family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Adam Marchant; and brother, Greg Marchant.
In honor or Gay’s wishes there will be no services. Wappner Funeral Directors-Mansfield is honored to serve the Marchant family.
