George Arthur Harmon, 63, of 381 Wayne Street died Wednesday October 20, 1999 at MedCentral Mansfield following an extended illness. Mr. Harmon was born September 3, 1936 in Greenwich, Ohio and has resided in the Mansfield area most of his life. He retired from Hartman Electric Company and was a member of the Eagles, Sons of Herman, and had belonged to the Moose and Liederkranz. Surviving are his father, Fred Harmon of Mifflin Care Center; four sisters, Elaine Yates of Yunia, Arizona, Lucy Vest of Groesbeck, Texas, Jane Tillery of Mesquite, Texas, and Anna Botzer of White Settlement, Texas; nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Tuesday October 26, 1999 at 11:00 a.m. in Edwards Grove Cemetery in Greenwich, OH, conducted by Rev. Cloyd Kress.
