

Glenn L. "Tank" Swank, 54, of Mansfield, died November 12, 2015. Born November 28, 1960 in Shelby, he was the son of Raymond and Delores (Hart) Swank. Tank graduated from Shelby High School and went to work as a welder for Newman for 22 years before going to work for General Technologies. A real outdoorsman, Tank loved hunting and fishing. A proud moment for him was out scoring many competitors in an outdoorsman contest, winning a bear hunting trip to Canada. His favorite past times included cookouts and campfires with his family. A kind hearted guy, Tank was a huge Oakland Raiders fan. He attended Stewart Road Church of God and Belmont Community Church.
Surviving are his wife of 14 years, Brenda Swank of Mansfield; sons, Zach (Jessica) McCormack of Mansfield and Adam McCormack of Mansfield; grandchildren, Drayven, Ariah, Bryson, and Rilee McCormack and Ava Cline; brothers, Lynn (Laura) Swank of Mansfield and Scott (Karen) Swank of Shelby; sister, Mary Jones of Mansfield; mother-in-law, Rose Carroll of Mansfield; nieces and nephews, Courtney, Isaac, Derek, and Breanna; and a host of other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, November 16, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Road, Ontario. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 10a.m. at the funeral home, conducted by Rev. Sam Wright and Rev. Gary Lambert. Burial will follow in Springmill Cemetery.
