
Harold Joseph Bridges, Jr., age 56, of Ontario, died Tuesday, March 23, 2004, at his home. He was born September 19, 1947, in San Diego, California. He had been an area resident the past 15 years. He was self-employed as a truck driver and contractor. Harold was an active member of the International Hot Rod Assoc. I.H.R.A., the National Hot Rod Assoc. N.H.R.A., National Rifle Assoc. N.R.A. and active with Races for Christ.
He is survived by his mother, Juanita T. Southerland of Nashville, Tennessee; wife, Melissa Cole Bridges; a son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Michelle Poole of Bucyrus; two daughters, Rebecca Poole and her fiancé, Greg Oehrli and Heidi Poole and Ryan Hale, all of Crestline; five grandchildren, Joslyn, Paige, Nathaniel, Konner and Landon; a sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and David Johnson of Nashville; a brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Mary Bridges of Toms River, New Jersey; and four nieces, Mary Michael, Jessica, Lara, and Alexandra. His father, Harold Joseph Bridges, preceded him in death.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, March 25 at 1:00 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors.
