Harold King Sr.

Harold B. King, age 78 of Mansfield died on Friday January 5, 2001 at Woodlawn Nursing Home following a brief illness. Mr. King was born December 1, 1922 in Raymond City, West Virginia residing in the Mansfield area most of his life. He retired from Artesian Industries. Harold enjoyed gardening, yard work and spending time with his grandchildren.

Left behind to cherish his memories are his wife of 50 years, Wanda L. Withrow King; one son and daughter-in-law, Harold B. Jr. and Joyce A. King; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Sue and Charles Tucker; six grandchildren, Joshua King and his fiancée, Rebecca Olson of Columbus, Ohio; Daniel King and Bethany King of Mansfield; Alicia, Amanda and Justin Tucker of Mansfield; one brother, William King of Bancroft West Virginia; and three sisters, Virginia Pickering and Maxine Wright both of Bancroft, West Virginia; Elsie and Carvin Withrow of St. Albans, West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Eva King; three brothers, Argus, Clarence and Golden King; and infant sisters, Betty and Margaret.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors one hour prior to funeral services which will be held on Monday January 8, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. conducted by the Rev. Fred Crank. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Hospice of North Central Ohio.
