Horace loved spending time with family and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet of 62 years and parents, Charles and Donna Whatman. He is survived by one son, William Whatman; four daughters, Becky (Lenny) Patton, Jenny (Alex) Piroska, Judy (Rob) Slabodnick and Sue (Jeff) Bucher; 17 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held for the family. Memorial contributions in honor of Horace may be made to Southern Care Hospice, 2291 W. 4th Suite G, Mansfield, Ohio 44906.
