Irene McNutt

Irene McNutt, 69, of Mansfield, passed away Friday morning, October 15, 2010 at her home after a long battle with cancer. Born November 11, 1940 in Portsmouth, she was the daughter of the late Hester Blevins and Jess McGraw. An area homemaker her entire life, Irene found great pleasure in spending time with her family. She enjoyed gardening and scrapbooking.

Irene is survived by her husband, Donald McNutt; five children, Robert Paula Blevins of Crestline, Kim Jim Blevins of Mansfield, Pamela Gene Mosier of Colorado, Mark Annette McNutt of Kentucky and Donna McNutt; twelve grandchildren, Crystal Gail Clifford Hadley, Brittany Ann Blevins, Cody Blevins, Shyanna Blevins, Scottrisha Lucas Conn, Cindy Mabe, Jimmy Blevins, Ashley Blevins, Nicholas Blevins, Susan Jim Krodel, Shaun Walker and Alan Kathy McNutt; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Ada Mauk of Baltimore, MD; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Norma Butcher; granddaughter, Tiffany Ann Blevins; sisters, Helen Blevins and Violet Scott; and brother, Chester McGraw.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2010 in the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St. with visitation from 1-2 p.m. Pastor Mike Mack will officiate. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
