

He retired from Ohio Brass. James was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in both WWII and the Korean War. On July 30, 1948, he married the love of his life, Charlotte Fay Maynor. James devoted his life to being a devoted husband and father. He loved his children and grandchildren tremendously and blessed them with many wonderful memories. He had a special little friend, BoBo who he will meet at the gates of Heaven, while Little Boy stays to take care of his Honey Bun.
James is survived by his wife of 63 years, Charlotte Faye Maynor Dugan; four children, Alvin (Lesley Joy) Dugan, Regina (Aamir) Safdar, James (Dorothy) Dugan, Jr. and Patricia Reese; five grandchildren, Ashley Dugan, Madeline Dugan, James Dugan III, Natalie Safdar and Tyler Reese; and a special niece, Sue. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lilly Stover.
Private services will be observed by the family. The Diamond St. Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to assist the family of James Dugan.
