James Holsinger

James Jackson Andrew 'Jack' Holsinger, 77, of Mansfield, died Wednesday evening at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital following an extended illness. Mr. Holsinger was born April 15, 1925 in Manchester, Ohio residing in the Mansfield area most of his life. He retired from Globe Steel Abrasive after 33 ½ years of service.

Surviving are two sons and two daughters-in-law, Ronald and Dana R. Holsinger of Perrysville; and Jerry and Joyce Holsinger of Mansfield; one daughter, Linda Williams of Mansfield; twelve grandchildren; twenty two great-grandchildren; his previous wife and special friend, Ilene Holsinger of Mansfield; one brother, John Holsinger of West Union, Ohio; one sister, Mary Hiatt of Hillsboro, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Clara India Holsinger; two brothers, Woodrow and Dewy; and three sisters, Elsie, Nellie and an infant sister.

Friends may call at The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Sunday February 2, 2003 from 2-5 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Timothy Heinrich. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
