He retired from Empire Detroit Steel after 23 years of service. He proudly served his country and was a veteran of the United States Army. Jim was a hard worker; quiet, but strong and determined. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being with his family.
Jim is survived by his sons, James E. Littleton and Timothy Littleton; grandchildren, Christina Littleton and Jenna (Denny) Collier; great-granddaughter McKenzie; many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Betty P. (Tabor) Littleton; his parents; three brothers, Millard, Clifford and Jesse; and sister, Lucinda (Lou).
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Wappner Funeral Directors-Mansfield, 98 S. Diamond Street. The service will be on Tuesday March 25, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Wappner Funeral Directors-Mansfield, 98 S. Diamond Street with Pastor Milo Johnston officiating, Richland County JVC will perform military honors at the funeral home. Burial will be at Shenandoah Cemetery.
