Janet Smith

Janet K. Korbas Smith, 62, Mansfield, died Tuesday, February 14, 2006, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. She was born March 1, 1943, in Mansfield the daughter of Victor and Helen Sheets Riley. A lifelong resident of the area, Mrs. Smith worked at Vics Cleaners and was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church. She was a member of the Moose Lodge.

Surviving are her husband, Clenny D. Smith, Jr. whom she married September 22, 1990; a daughter and son-in-law, Laurie and Richard Setser of Johnsville; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Tom and Nancy Korbas of Johnsville and Michael Korbas and his girlfriend Aimee Simpson both of Mansfield; three step children, Cliff and Diane Smith of Bellville, Gary and Cecile Smith of Mansfield and Tammy Mullins of Mansfield; six grandchildren, 11 step grandchildren, seven step great grandchildren; two sisters and a brother-in-law, her twin, Janice McMahon of Mansfield and Vickie and Steve Reber of Florida; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 23 years, Thomas F. Korbas; her parents; and her paternal and maternal grandparents.

Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2006 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday,

February 18, 2006 at the funeral home with Rev. Michael Zacharias officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery.
