Janice Peters, 74 of Mansfield died May 2, 2000 at Griffeth Nursing Home following an extended illness. Mrs. Peters was born August 28, 1925 in Mansfield being a life long resident. She attended Butler High School and previously worked at Toppers Restaurant and Leland Hotel.
Surviving are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Gordon Peters of Bellville, Ohio; and Edward and Cecilla Peters of Arizona; one daughter, Marge Dye of Wooster, Ohio; one sister, Joyce Walters of Bellville, Ohio; two brothers and one sister-in-law, David Weber of Crestline, Ohio; and Doug and Maxine Weber of Galion, Ohio; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Mabel Scott Weber; her husband, Blain Peters; one sister, Shirley Weber and one son, Allan Peters..
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by Dr. Blake Wagner. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park.
