Janice Wise, 74, of Ashland, passed away Saturday afternoon, April 27, 2013 at Hospice of North Central Ohio. She was born February 4, 1939 in Ashland to the late William Henry and Florence (Silsby) Grosscup.
She was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in West Salem. Janice loved birds and crocheting. She was a former member of the Eagles Club and Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by three daughters, Vicki (Jeff) Moody of Ashland, Tami (Mark) Heilman of Polk and Christina (Brent) Hamilton of Savannah; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Barbara. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Allen Wise in 1966 and three brothers.
Private family services will be observed by the family. The Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Drive, Ashland, OH 44805.
