Jeanette Crotty

Jeanette Crotty, 60, passed away unexpectedly early Thursday morning, July 14, 2011 at her home. Born December 6, 1950 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Grace Spriggins Weaver. She graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1968, became a homemaker and then worked at Sprint for 10 years. Jeanette's life revolved around her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Possessing a wonderful sense of humor, Jeanette was delighted to talk with her daughters and friends, and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed the company of her two cats.

She is survived by her daughters, Kelly Crotty and Pamela Crotty-White; grandchildren, Sonni Taylor II, Carlene Nabors, Dalana Nabors, and Ahmad Taylor; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Tivener.

A funeral service will be held Monday, July 18, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
