Jeanette Irene (Forquer) Young

Jeanette Irene (Forquer) Young, age 87, found eternal peace in the arms of God on Thursday, March 8, 2018. Devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Jeanette fought a year-long battle with cancer valiantly. Her spirit will be with us until we reunite. Jeanette’s generous spirit and genuine love remain her gifts to us. No wife has loved more, dedicating over 70 years of marriage to her husband, Charlie. Jeanette’s love for her kids never wavered.

Surviving Jeanette are her devoted husband; Charles E. Young, Jr.; son, Daniel Young (David Kunkleman) of Mansfield; daughters, Vicky (Young) Varvel (Donny) of Mansfield and Suzette (Young) Swartz (Paul) of Lake Orion, Michigan; grandchildren, Jason Stoots (Holly), Brian Stoots, Broc Bechtler (Heidi), Brandon Bechtler (Allie), Amanda Varvel, Cody Swartz, all of Mansfield; and 12 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents, Burton and Belle Forquer; twin sister, Jean Cline; brothers, Harry and Bill Forquer; and nephew, Ronnie Cline.

The family wishes to thank the many people from all over the world who have prayed for Jeanette and her family this past year. A special thanks to the staff of Good Shepherd Rehab Unit and Pathways Hospice Services in Ashland for their loving care of our beloved wife and mom.

Calling hours will be at Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Road on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and the funeral service will be Wednesday, March 14, 2018 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Officiating the service will be her son, Rev. Daniel Young. Burial will take place at Mansfield Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Salvation Army, 47 S.
