Jerry Eckstein

Born December 8, 1965 in Mansfield, he was the son of David and Marilyn Jean (Hanna) Eckstein. Jerry was a 1984 graduate of Ontario High School and a 1988 graduate of The Ohio State University where he was a five year member of the marching band. He was involved in several projects in the Real Estate Industry. An avid outdoorsman, Jerry enjoyed running and skiing. He also enjoyed traveling and did so extensively with trips to Greece, France, China and Italy.

Surviving are a sister, Shelley Gaye Fisher and her children, Bryce, Travis and Arianna; two aunts, Sally (Randy) Knapp and Holly (Phil) Harris; two uncles, Steve (Judy) Eckstein and George (Malorie) Eckstein; and a close friend, Holly Jamin and her two daughters, Kate and

Abby. He was preceded in death by his parents; an aunt, Janet Hanna; and a brother-in-law, Mark Fisher.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2011 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario conducted by Pastor Andrew W. Jones. Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral services at the funeral home on Friday. Private burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Tiro, Ohio.
